Garrett Flanagan has over 10 years experience working as a NSW property lawyer, both in private practice (in mid-tier and boutique law firms in Sydney) and in government (at NSW Trustee & Guardian and Land & Property Information NSW). Most recently, he worked in-house as a land titling property lawyer at NSW Land Registry Services.

Garrett has extensive experience acting for private and commercial clients and state government bodies on a wide range of property related matters, including:

• selling and purchasing properties (residential and commercial);​

• carrying out due diligence for prospective purchases;

• leasing commercial and retail premises (landlords and tenants);  

• investigating, creating and cancelling easements, restrictions and covenants affecting or benefitting properties;

• registering executors, administrators and beneficiaries as proprietors of properties;

• possessory title applications;

• recording caveats; and

• terminating strata schemes.​

 

Before working in Sydney, Garrett worked for over 4 years as an Irish property lawyer in a top tier law firm in Dublin, Ireland.

 

Garrett is admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales, Ireland, England and Wales.
